Ozark Grassfed

About 300 miles around the ranch

Grass fed beef near you, if you are anywhere near Arkansas.

Fresh beef has to travel fast and cold, so we keep it close to home. If you are inside this circle you can have beef from our herd in your freezer.

Where we deliver

Heber Springs sits in Cleburne County, in the foothills of the Ozarks about an hour north of Little Rock. Three hundred miles from the gate covers a lot of good country.

Near the edge of that list? Call the ranch and we will tell you straight whether we can get beef to you in good condition.

Why 300 miles and not the whole country

Frozen beef has to travel fast and cold. Past a certain distance you are into overnight freight and dry ice, and the cost of getting it there starts to rival the cost of the beef itself. Worse, the risk goes up. A box that sits on a dock for an afternoon in July is a box of thawed beef.

Plenty of operations ship nationally and some do it well. We would rather be honest about the radius we can stand behind than take an order we are not confident in.

If you are outside the circle, the beef sticks still reach you.
They are shelf stable and ship to any state.

Pickup at the ranch

Sundays, 10am to 3pm, outside Heber Springs. Pickup costs nothing and it is how most half and eighth buyers collect.

It is also the only way to see the herd your beef came from, which we would rather you did. Very few beef brands can make that offer. If you are within reasonable driving distance and you are buying a share, it is worth the trip once.

What we deliver

Everything fresh and frozen: ground beef, steaks, roasts, brats, and half and eighth shares. Shares are heavy, so for those we will usually suggest pickup or a delivery day that already has a run going your way.

Questions we get

Do you deliver to my town?

We cover about 300 miles around Heber Springs, which takes in most of Arkansas plus parts of Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Mississippi. If you are near the edge, call and ask.

How far is 300 miles from Heber Springs?

It reaches Little Rock, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Jonesboro, Memphis, Springfield and Tulsa comfortably, and stretches toward the state lines beyond them.

Can I pick up at the ranch instead?

Yes, Sundays from 10am to 3pm. Pickup is free and it is how most share buyers take delivery.

Why do you not ship beef further?

Frozen beef has to travel fast and cold. Past a certain distance we cannot promise it arrives the way it left, so we would rather say no. Our beef sticks are shelf stable and do ship anywhere.

Do you deliver shares, or only boxes?

Both, though shares are heavy. For a half we will usually suggest pickup or a delivery day that already has a run going your way.

Rather just ask somebody?

Call the ranch and you will get Justin or Ryley, not a call center. Ask anything about the cattle, the cuts, a share, or when the next batch is ready.
